Obiettivo Tricolore has returned to the roads of Italy with its fifth edition, and once again we at Enervit are at the side of this extraordinary adventure.

The Paralympic relay, created by Alex Zanardi, set off yesterday from Gallipoli and, after three weeks, will reach the finish line in Trento on October 10, during the Festival dello Sport.
Seventy Paralympic athletes, riding handbikes, bicycles and racing wheelchairs, will carry the baton forward, crossing Italy in 23 stages, 1,790 km and with 18,640 meters of elevation gain.
The 2025 edition also introduces brand-new challenges, such as “bike climbs” on the great Alpine and Apennine passes, a 400 km ultratrail, and a spectacular sprint triathlon on the waters of Lake Trasimeno.

The main protagonists are the athletes of Obiettivo3, the project launched by Alex Zanardi in 2017 to support Paralympic sport. Among them are Olympic medalist Ana Maria Vitelaru, tandem world champion Federico Andreoli, Italian champion and world bronze medalist Giulia Ruffato, and European champion Davide Cortini.

Adding even more excitement to the challenge will be numerous ambassadors and sports champions, including Kristian Ghedina, Elia Viviani, Daniele Bennati, and the Enervit Ambassadors Fabio Aru, Daniel Fontana and Alessandra Fior, who will ride alongside the relay participants on some of the toughest stages.

Along the route, sports and promotional villages open to the public will be set up — unique opportunities to get closer to Paralympic disciplines and experience firsthand the values of inclusion, resilience and sharing that have always inspired Obiettivo Tricolore.

From the heel of Italy to the Dolomites, this relay confirms itself as a symbol of hope and rebirth, capable of uniting the country in one great embrace.
