Jannik Sinner
Discipline: Tennis
Born: San Candido (TN), August 16, 2001
From a young age, Jannik Sinner has shown extraordinary energy and passion for sports. After his early days on the ski slopes, it was with a tennis racket in hand that he began to write his story. At seven years old, he discovered tennis and fell in love with it instantly.
His talent exploded in 2018, when he began competing in ITF and Challenger tournaments. His first victory in Bergamo marked the start of a remarkable rise that amazed the tennis world.
In 2019, with a wild card at the Italian Open, he won his first ATP match. But it was his triumph at the Next Gen ATP Finals in Milan that thrust him into the international spotlight: talent, maturity, and composure blended into an explosive mix.
In 2020, he reached the quarterfinals at Roland Garros, facing Nadal. Despite the defeat, his performance confirmed his enormous potential. He closed the year by winning his first ATP title in Sofia, becoming the youngest Italian to do so in decades.
2021 was the year of confirmation: he reached the final at the Miami Masters 1000, won two more ATP titles, and secured a steady spot in the world’s top 20.
In 2022, he reached the quarterfinals in three Grand Slams (Wimbledon, Australian Open, and US Open). In 2023, he became a key player in Italy’s historic Davis Cup victory after 47 years, along with winning four more ATP titles.
2024 was the year of ultimate consecration. In a crescendo of victories, Sinner won the Australian Open and became the first Italian in history to reach world number one. In September, he claimed another extraordinary triumph by winning the US Open at Flushing Meadows, capping off a dream season.
In 2025, Sinner remains a leading force. He successfully defended his Australian Open title and reached the finals at Roland Garros and the Italian Open. His determination, constant improvement, and mental strength confirm him as one of the most respected and feared champions on the circuit.
July 13, 2025 is a date that will be carved in history: Jannik Sinner becomes the first Italian to win Wimbledon’s Gentlemen’s Singles Trophy, after 138 years of tradition. The first to attempt it was Gino De Martino, back in 1911.
Jannik has chosen Enervit to support his performance.
Before, during and after every match.
