Stefano Baldini has irrevocably linked his name to Olympic victory, owing to that magical afternoon in Athens on August 29, 2004. His race resume includes a victory in the European Cup for 10,000 meters (1995), two European marathon titles (1998 and 2006), a World Half Marathon title (1996), two bronze medals at the World Marathon Championships (2001 and 2003), and 13 Italian titles. He has also been the youth sector Technical Director for the Italian Athletics Federation.
He has several successful publications to his credit, such as "Quelli che corrono" (Mondadori, 2007) and "Maratona per tutti" (Mondadori, 2009). He collaborates with SKY for commentary on the Diamond League of athletics. Along with Linus, Davide Cassani, Hervé Barmasse, and Elena Casiraghi, he participates in "Deejay Training Center", the radio program that speaks to those who engage in sports. Radio Deejay is broadvcast every Sunday at 12 noon
