Lidl-Trek scores its sixth stage win at the Giro d’Italia with a masterpiece by Carlos Verona on the road to Asiago - delivered with style, power, and heart.

After 219 kilometers of climbing, grinding, and pure grit, Verona launched the winning move on the final climb to Dori, dropping his breakaway companions and crossing the line solo - arms raised, a heartfelt tribute to teammate Giulio Ciccone, who was forced to abandon the day before..

It’s Carlos’s second career win, and Lidl-Trek’s sixth triumph at this Giro. After four stage wins from Mads Pedersen and a dominant time trial from Daan Hoole, this one was all about heart. Verona’s legs and spirit did the rest.
