Granfondo Squali Trek

Every year on May 15, the Granfondo degli Squali di Cattolica takes place. Participants depart from the beautiful setting of the Cattolica Aquarium and finish in Gabicce Monte with breathtaking views of the Adriatic Riviera of Romagna and Marche.
It’s a cycling event much loved by cycling fans, who can choose two different routes:
- the 'Medio Fondo': 85 km with an elevation gain of 1,365 m (maximum gradient of 8%)
- the 'Granfondo': 128 km with an elevation gain of 2,183 m (maximum gradient of 14%).
