From fatigue to joy: Battocletti takes World silver
Some dream of medals, others win them: Nadia Battocletti has done it again.

At the 2025 World Athletics Championships, in the 10,000m, our Italian star ran with intelligence and heart, leaving behind almost all the phenomenal African athletes and claiming world silver with an extraordinary time: 30:38.23, a new Italian record.
From the very first meter to the final sprint, Nadia stayed in the leading group, carefully managing her energy, lightness, and breath. With just a few laps to go, she gathered everything she had left to launch her kick: overtaking her rivals one by one, until she nearly touched victory. She finished just behind Beatrice Chebet, the world record holder, but ahead of all the others. A true feat.
“I realized the athlete I am” she said, through tears she couldn’t hold back. Nadia’s path has not been easy - full of sacrifices, setbacks, and doubts - but also of resilience, consistency, and trust. The dream she had been chasing for so long has become reality.
Nadia, you are a queen. And we are by your side, ready to celebrate again.
