He represented Italy at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in the 49er class after prevailing in national competitions.
Following the Rio Olympics, Ruggero decided to get involved in a new adventure on the Nacra 17 Full Foiling, a boat that’s strongly connected to his passion and experience. His passion for speed and the sensational novelty of the new boat led him to undertake this new adventure, thanks to the experience he gained on the 49er, in kitesurfing, and especially on the Moth, the foil boat par excellence.
