Chiara Ciuffini discovered cycling in 2009, at the age of 23, by chance when she was recovering from a fall from a horse a few weeks before the earthquake that would devastate her city. Since then, the bike has become her life. First purely for fun, then later when she made her debut in the amateur world.
Since 2013 she has been a rival to reckon with in all the most prestigious granfondos, having achieved significant triumphs, such as the European title and the Strade Bianche in 2019.
Chiara has also tried her hand at two solo bike packing trips: first the Milan-L'Aquila, later a tour of Abruzzo’s four national parks, which she wrote about for the magazine "Alvento".
