Miguel Indurain Larraya was a professional cyclist from 1985 to 1996.
Miguel is a true legend and has written unforgettable pages in the history books of cycling.
He rightfully belongs to the club of the greatest cyclists of all time, together with champions such as Eddy Merckx, Bernard Hinault, Jacques Anquetil, and Fausto Coppi.
He has been recognized by a jury composed of five French specialists, who were selected by the Tour's organization, as the eighth greatest rider ever of the Tour of France. His ability to sacrifice himself, his innate propensity for victory, and his intense attention to preparation and nutrition allowed him to achieve his impressive number of successes.
Spanish athlete of the 20th century, World Sportsman of 1992 and 1993, Miguel Indurain is in the Cycling Hall of Fame.
