Marcialonga Ski 2023

The queen of Italian classic technique cross-country ski races, occurs on the last Sunday of January in the Fiemme and Fassa Valleys.
A unique natural landscape, surrounded by the majestic Dolomites, which make Trentino one of the most visited regions in Europe.

Marcialonga was born in 1971 from the passion of four friends who, after competing in the 1969 Vasaloppet, decided to organize a similar event at 'home' in the Fiemme and Fassa Valleys. The Marcialonga was nominated in 2018 and 2019 as the best "Visma Ski Classic" event, the circuit that includes some of the most renowned granfondo races in the world, such as the Swedish Vasaloppet and the Norwegian Birkebeinerrennet.

The track takes skiers through the villages of the two valleys, discovering suggestive views, accompanied by the cheers of the spectators who flock to support the more than 7000 participants every year.

The route offers two variants:

- Classic Race: 70 km from Moena to the centre of Cavalese, after the famous Cascata climb, with the great novelty of the Mur del la Stria, on the occasion of the 50th edition
- Light Race: 45 km from Cavalese to Predazzo
