Gaia started biking almost before she could walk, and at 5 years old, she was already part of a cycling team. While she was growing up, she tried many other physical activities, from dance to skating to karate, but in the end her first passion prevailed.
Today, though still very young, she can already boast respectable palmarès in cross-country mountain bike racing. Between 2019 and 2021, she put a silver medal in her trophy case from the 2020 World Mountain Bike Championships, and three gold medals from the European Mountain Bike Championships.
In 2022 Gaia has confirmed her european leadership winning the European XCE Championship in Portual.
