Alpinist and explorer
Hervé Barmasse is an athlete, writer and proponent of a respectful mountaineering for the environment and humanity. Mountain guide for four generations, his name is linked to first ascents carried out all over the world, often tackled alone. He has registered a growing popularity thanks to a constant presence on TV (from 2016 he is a permanent presence in "Kilimanjaro" on Rai 3), in newspapers and magazines throughout Europe. Hervé climbed in alpine style his first 8000, Shisha Pangma (8,027m), achieved in a record time of 13 hours by applying a new -and more scientific- preparation, training and nutrition methodology.
